If print quality remains a problem after replacing the ink cartridges, contact your dealer. See Replacing an Ink Cartridge Before It Is Expended If the print quality still has not improved, at least one of your ink cartridges may be old or damaged and may need to be replaced. Then run the nozzle check again and repeat the head cleaning if necessary. If print quality has not improved after repeating this procedure about four times, turn the printer off and wait for at least 6 hours. Never turn off the printer while the power light is flashing. The power light flashes while the printer performs the cleaning cycle. If the printer icon does not appear, refer to the following section to add the icon. Right-click the printer icon on the taskbar, then select Head Cleaning. Make sure that A4 size paper is loaded in the sheet feeder.
